Glenaladale Heritage Trust is presenting a fundraising Ceilidh. Entertainment will feature one of the Island’s favourite musical sons Eddy Quinn with longtime accompanist and songwriter John Webster and Mike Pendergast on accordion. Rounding out the evening’s entertainment will be some local singers and fiddlers to keep all toes tapping.

The Glenaladale Heritage Trust will use the occasion to launch the “Buy a Brick” campaign, a new effort in the continuing push to purchase and preserve the last great estate mansion on PEI, the Glenaladale Estate on Tracadie Bay. The house has been home to some of the most colourful stories of Island history and the ceilidh on the 21st of January will honour that tradition with the presentation of local songs, stories and tunes.
